Conditions:

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Excess hours will be charged based on the extra hours of usage. Rates are in UAE Dirhams and are subject to change without prior notice. The rates do not include fuel charges.

Driving Licence:

(i) All drivers must be above 21 years of age and should have a valid UAE driving licence and should have held the licence for over one year.

(ii) Visitors on transit / visit visa should hold an International Driving licence valid in the UAE or a UAE Driving Licence. Copies of passport and their valid national and International licence should be submitted.

Security:

(i) Credit card imprint is mandatory on an individual hire.

Payments:

(i) All major international credit cards are accepted. Pre authorisation covering the estimated rental charges will be obtained on the credit card.

Chauffeur Service:

(i) Drivers are available for Dhs.275/-for minimum 8 hours. Any extra hours will be charged for Dhs.40/ -per hour.

Overtime is charged at the following rate: Dhs. 25/-per hour. If a driver has to come along outside of Dubai during the day or is on continuous duty with the same customer for 5 hours or more a Dhs. 20/- fee towards lunch allowance is chargeable.

Charges for overnight stay out of Dubai can be provided on request.

Traffic Fines:

(i) All traffic offences (speeding / wrong parking or other offences) are directly debited to the Rental Agency, after a period (which may be extensive) following the actual offence. This amount will be debited to the client and charged to the credit card. A service charge of Dhs. 30 will be charged on traffic fines. A copy of the traffic offence as recorded by the authorities is available on request.

(ii) Any queries about the traffic fines should be made directly by the hirer to the traffic authorities.

Accident or Damages :

(i)As per the UAE law, any repairs carried out on vehicles without prior written permission from traffic authorities is a punishable offence and insurance companies will refuse to honor the claim. The hirer should not move the vehicle unless and until police permission is obtained. This is applicable when there is a fatal accident. For minor accidents, the vehicle can be moved to avoid the traffic congestion but the hirer should wait at the accident scene for the police to arrive. The hirer is obliged to procure police permission for any damage to the vehicle.

(ii) In the event of an accident or any damage on the hirer's side, the hirer is liable to pay an amount (accident excess deductable) which is mutually agreed upon, when entering into a contract.

(iii) Third party damages- If the other party is not traceable, the liability will be borne by the hirer.

(iv) Even if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken, it is still mandatory to obtain a police report.

(v) If for any reason, a police report is not obtained for any damages of the hired vehicle, the hirer shall be responsible for all the consequences and cost of repairing the vehicle, including rental charges till the vehicle is repaired.

(vi) No UCR vehicle will be used for towing any other vehicle.

(vii) Tyre punctures are to be repaired by the hirer. Cost of tyres repaired or replaced as a result of damage due to an impact is chargeable to the client unless supported by a police report at which point insurance may cover repairs/replacement as per contract.

Insurance:

(i) All UCR vehicles are comprehensively insured and are to be used within the geographical limits of the UAE.

(ii) The insurance covers third party property damage, accidental damages, fire and theft.

(iii) It also covers all passengers travelling in the vehicle, i.e., bodily injury / death as per the UAE law.

(iv) If the vehicle suffers any damage in the event of an accident or otherwise, accident charges will be the responsibility of the hirer entirely, except where Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken and paid for at the appropriate rates as set above and a police report is submitted.

(v) Normal wear and tear will be borne by the company.

(vi) Client wishing to drive to Oman can get additional coverage for the duration required for an additional premium; additional surcharge of 30% of the daily rate will be added for the duration of the car hire in Oman.
