Conditions:

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. A maximum period grace period of 29 minutes is allowed exceeding which a full day rental will be charged.

Documents Required

Requirements of Hire: (For Company)

• Valid Trade license copy.
• Company’s LPO / Letter in original duly stamped and signed by authorized signatory along with passport copy of the Authorized Signatory.
• User’s driving license copy and passport copy with valid visa page.

Personal Hire:

• For visit visa holders, a valid international driving license issued by country of origin and national licence is mandatory.
• For UAE citizens and expatriates with residence visa, a valid driving licence as per UAE Law
• Driver’s Driving license copy
• Passport copy with valid visa page.
• Credit Card Imprint and credit card photo copy of both sides.

Driving Licence:

(i) All drivers must be above 21 years of age and should have a valid driving licence as per UAE Law for a period exceeding one year.

(ii) Visitors on transit / visit visa should hold an International Driving licence valid in the UAE issued by country of origin and the national licence or a UAE Driving Licence. Copies of passport along with visa page and their valid national and International licence should be submitted.

Security:

(i) Credit card imprint and authorization is mandatory for all individual hires.

Payments:

(i) Payment: only by credit card in advance at the start of the hire. Rental value of the hire will be purchased and an amount of AED 2000/- will be blocked towards accident liability, Salik and traffic fines. All major international credit cards are accepted.

Traffic Fines:

(i) All traffic offences (speeding / wrong parking or other offences) are directly debited to the Rental Agency, after a period (which may be extensive) following the actual offence. This amount will be debited to the client and charged to the credit card. A service charge of 10% will be levied to process each traffic fine.

Accident or Damages :

(i)As per the UAE law, any repairs carried out on vehicles without prior written permission from traffic authorities is a punishable offence and insurance companies will refuse to honor the claim. The hirer should not move the vehicle unless and until police permission is obtained. This is applicable when there is a fatal accident. For minor accidents, the vehicle can be moved to avoid the traffic congestion but the hirer should wait at the accident scene for the police to arrive. The hirer is obliged to procure police permission for any damage to the vehicle.

(ii) In the event of an accident or any damage on the hirer's side, the hirer is liable to pay an amount (accident excess deductible) which is mutually agreed upon, when entering into a contract.

(iii) Third party damages- If the other party is not traceable, the liability will be borne by the hirer.

(iv) Even if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken, it is still mandatory to obtain a police report.

(v) If for any reason, a police report is not obtained for any damages of the hired vehicle, the hirer shall be responsible for all the consequences and cost of repairing the vehicle, including rental charges till the vehicle is repaired.

(vi) No UCR vehicle will be used for towing any other vehicle.

(vii) Tyre punctures are to be repaired by the hirer. Cost of tyres repaired or replaced as a result of damage due to an impact is chargeable to the client.

Insurance:

(i) All UCR vehicles are comprehensively insured as per UAE law and are to be used within the geographical limits of the UAE.

(ii) The insurance covers third party property damage, accidental damages, fire and theft.

(iii) It also covers all passengers traveling in the vehicle, i.e., bodily injury / death as per the UAE law.

(iv) If the vehicle suffers any damage in the event of an accident or otherwise, accident charges will be the responsibility of the hirer entirely, except where Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is taken and paid for at the appropriate rates as set above and a police report is submitted.

(v) Normal wear and tear will be borne by the company.

(vi) Client wishing to drive to Oman can get additional coverage for the duration required for an additional premium; additional surcharge of 30% of the daily rate will be added for the duration of the car hire in Oman.

Delivery / Collection:

Delivery /Collection can be made available up on request, and will be charged depending on the location.
